We are selling… partly!

This is a notice of sale of 40-49% Equity for farm expansion and liquidity/debts management.

This is a part of an ongoing process of long term survivability and farm process stability.

Why we are selling…!

The world ended and we were not ready for it. Unfortunately, as bad as it has been, this is a precursor of the Storm that is coming. Following the challenges of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it has become increasingly imperative on the need to re-strategize and explore new frontiers in terms of partnerships and growth. If the Pandemic is a precursor of the Storm that is coming, we wish to position the Farm to be able to meet the challenges of the future, whilst ensuring long term growth.

We need to shed the albatross of liabilities past, heeding the lessons learned therein. Beyond this, we need to increase our investment in all the value chains of the food production process. We need to become industry leaders in production of major food items found in most homes at friendly prices. We need to become a bigger vehicle for rural development and poverty reduction. Everything that we have achieved in the past no longer matter. All that matter is the future!

But we cannot go at it alone. We believe that the future belongs to those who not only see it but through collaboration are able to position themselves to make it happen. The future is agriculture! And we need partners and collaborators to position us to make it happen. This new journey requires more partners who share the same visions, goals and objective as we do in helping Nigeria attain food sufficiency.

Our Primary Goal & Values

The NFGCS Vision

The vision of NFGCS is to help Nigeria achieve food sufficiency by engaging her citizenry in the now patriotic task of developing the National Agricultural Industry.

As an Integrated Agricultural Platform, producing food that gets served across every home, our Valued customers must trust that products will always be of standard quality for their needs.

NFGCS is a working partnership among different working parts. It is a synergic relationship that exists among Host Communities, Management, Customers, Staff and the different other parts working towards the shared goal of developing Nigeria through Agriculture.

Integrity is a key value which has served us well in the years since our establishment. As an ideological alternative, it is imperative that a key founding values be Integrity.

Trusted Since 2017

An Idea which started on the back heel of the Occupy NASS movement among comrades who came to the realisation that REAL change will not be feasible without a seismic shift in ideology. NFG-CS understands that for any meaningful development to happen to the Nigerian Economy, Nigerians must develop their Agricultural sector. For the longest time, despite the Billions of Naira which has supposedly been pumped into the Agricultural Sector, Nigeria still spends Billions annually on the importation of food to support the local production of food which isn’t sufficient, while about 50 Million Hectares remain un-farmed.

We have established farm settlement Village in a Nasarawa State, which is located in North Central Region of Nigeria with structures on ground which can support Commercial Agriculture like Irrigation system, employment of Agricultural Extension Officers and purchase of sophisticated Farm Machineries. The Farm Estate is 3,000 hectares large, although a fraction of this number has been cleared for any form of Agricultural activities.

More Than Just a Cooperative

In September, 2018 when it became imperative that there was need to change the structure of the Management of the entity, the Nigeria Farmers’ Group & Cooperative Society (NFGCS) and following the advise of our Financial Partner, KiaKia Bits Limited, a Company was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), NFGCS Farms Limited.

Having set up this structure, it was necessary to define the activities of the two complementary yet different business entities. The Nigeria Farmers’ Group & Cooperative Society (The Cooperative) has as its sole responsibility the task of primary production (crop and animal husbandry).

But the opportunities inherent in agriculture are more than just primary productive opportunities. The entire Agricultural value chain is littered with opportunities, opportunities that NFGCS is primarily primed to effectively utilise owing to the track record, experience and good will. These fall under the purview of NFGCS Farms Limited (The Company). Hence, the entity, NFGCS be it the Company or the Cooperative is essential positioned to take advantage of the opportunities in Agriculture using its plug-n-play Integrated Agricultural Platform where partners can plug into a platform for different reasons and needs.

Our Projects

Since our establishment in 2017, we have engaged in several projects which are aimed at making us better equipped to fully utilise all the opportunities inherent in the Agricultural Sector.
